WRENTHORPE ENVIRONMENTAL SOCIETY will hold its Annual General Meeting in Wrenthorpe Village Hall on Wednesday 24th March, 2010 at 7.30pm. Following a short official meeting the guest speaker, Sally Leng from the Environment Agency, will tell us about the flood alleviation work being carried out in Wrenthorpe Park and elsewhere in the District. Refreshments, including wine, will be available. Members free, guests £5.

If you would like to support WRENS and become a member, please join at the meeting or contact any committee member at any time. Subscriptions are currently £2 a year for an individual, £20 for Life Membership or £5 a year for family membership.

THE WREN COFFEE SHOP at Valley Crescent Centre, off Valley Drive, is now open every Wednesday from 10am until 1pm. Do come along for a coffee and a chat. There is a selection of hot and cold drinks, toasted teacakes, sweets and much more. A warm welcome is guaranteed.
