THE WREN COFFEE SHOP at Valley Crescent Centre, off Valley Drive, is now open every Wednesday from 10am until 1pm. Do come along for a coffee and a chat. There is a selection of hot and cold drinks, toasted teacakes, sweets and much more. A warm welcome is guaranteed.

10 SEPTEMBER: WRENTHORPE SHOW: The Annual Wrenthorpe Show will be held in the village hall on Saturday, September 10. As well as flowers and vegetables the show also includes photographs, baking of all kinds, children's entries, arts and crafts, jams and chutneys. Something for everyone to enter. There will also be a display by Hedgehugs - the local hedgehog rescue centre.
